About Michigan Festivities

A free statewide guide to Michigan fairs, festivals, art shows and craft shows.

What this is

Michigan Festivities lists county and state fairs, community festivals, art fairs and craft shows across Michigan — the Southeast, Southwest, Mid-Michigan, West Michigan, the Thumb, Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. Right now it covers 37 fairs and 392 festivals, art shows and craft shows in 74 counties. It is a growing directory, not a complete census of every event in the state.

Where the information comes from

Each listing is researched from public sources. We prefer the organizer’s own website; when that site had already switched to next year, dates sometimes come from an archived copy. When no organizer page was available, we used other public sources such as the Michigan Association of Fairs & Exhibitions list, visitor bureaus, local news, or third-party event calendars. Each listing says which source was used.

We don’t invent dates. If a date couldn’t be verified with the organizer (for example, an event found only on a listing site), the listing is marked Unconfirmed and no date is shown. Event information was last checked on October 8, 2026. We review our listings and sources twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays).

How to read a listing

  • Confirmed Dates found on the organizer’s site, or on another public source we opened (CVB, chamber, news, MAFE).
  • TBA This year’s dates weren’t verified; only the dates the organizer has posted for 2027 are shown.
  • Unconfirmed Date unconfirmed — check with organizer. Sources disagreed, or the event was only found on a listing site, so no date is shown.
  • 2027 dates posted The organizer has already announced next year’s dates.

Not affiliated

Michigan Festivities is an independent guide. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or run by the Michigan Association of Fairs & Exhibitions (MAFE) or any of the events, fair boards or organizers listed. Dates, hours and prices can change, so always confirm with the organizer before you go.
